Advice on Tams 2

I need a bit of advice. I see on Tams 2 that there is a grant available to cover an uncovered area. I have space in my yard adjoining my current shed that have the steel bars in place but wasn't roofed. So all that needs to be done is timber and sheeting. From reading the info, I gather that it might qualify under an uncovered area and doesn't need planning permission. Does anyone know if there is much involved in the process? The closing date is 31st Oct and 40% grant would go a long way. Thanks.
