Scotland to win by 10 points. Samoa have been very poor to date especially vs Japan.

Hugely disappointed with Samoa in this World Cup. Scotland were a bit disappointing against South Africa but I'd have them down to win this by 15+ points.

Scotland, I feel have flattered to deceive a little, they caught the Japanese during a tight turnaround.
Ongoing concerns with Laidlaw are still there but they've backed themselves into the corner with him. Pyrgos was poor against the US and I can't see SHC getting his first start in this must win game.
Saying that they should have enough to get past Samoa, who aside form being overall poor had an awful lineout against SA which the Gray brothers would look to destroy.

You'd like to think the Samoans would prefer not go out with a whimper and if they all play like Jack Lam did last weekend they might have a shot.

I'll be heading down with some Scottish mates anyway, along with over 100,000 more. I'll be enjoying myself, I'm hoping they get a little bit uncomfortable! Off to get my Cherry Blossom jersey at lunchtime!

Yup, this covers it exactly. Scotland it's a knock out game, Samoa it's a pride game and I think Scotland will win.

That says, if it's very tight going into the final quarter I'd back Samoa as Scotland have a terrible record of closing games out.
