It could be your alternator failing, very hard to guess given what you've said. Any other symptoms? What engine is in it?

Was thinking that going by Google search , it's 1.3L terios jeep , It drive grand but battery light keeps flicking on and off , then I was driving it and it jerk as if it drop a gear and check engine light came on then I put my foot down on the gas and it went back to normal again , it's just the battery light coming on and off has me thinking alternator maybe on its way out , if I brought to a garage would a computer pick that up
