Registering with ROS in the first year of self employment

I started trading this year, did a little bit of research and from what I understand I will pay my first taxes next year (both for 2015, and preliminary for 2016). So do I still have to register with ROS this year and fill something even though I don't owe anything ? Thanks for any info.
