    Hi

Apologies if this shouldn't be here, I wasn't sure where to post it. I was wondering if anyone is handy with Photoshop could edit some text in this? I just want to email it to some family members for my son's 1st birthday, so if anyone could change the child's name and date etc? I would really appreciate it!

If this is the wrong section, where would be best to post this?

    Thanks in advance!

The job itself is very easy. The problem is the copyright on that image. Do you have permission to reproduce it?

Copyright is a sore point with many photographers. Many have their work stolen and used without permission.

The image you have posted seems to be from a commercial producer. Can you not get them to make the invitations?

..which in turn would probably raise the sticky question of whether or not THEY were licensed to use the Dr. Seuss properties ...

It's just an image I found on Pinterest. I just thought it would be cute to email to the grandparents and aunties/uncles for a small gathering for his 1st birthday so I wasn't going to go all out and send proper invitations!

I am sorry but as most here do not like having their work stolen, we also do not assist others to do it. It is likely, as pointed out above, that the images are already being used without permission. It is a common problem these days that people think that everything that is online is free to use. That is not the case, however some things are. May I suggest you do a search for images which are flagged as "Creative Common" and select a quirky design you like from there. There are databases which will show Creative Common images and designs. When you find what you like, and can legally use, and still need a hand I am sure you will get some assistance here. Just add the request on to this thread. Good luck.

    Hi CabanSail

no problem, I fully understand where you are coming from, if it had dawned on me in the first place I probably wouldn't have posted it in the first place! Specially since I like to think of myself as a bit of an amateur photographer!!

Appreciate that thanks a mil, if I find something else I'll be back :)
