Changing from variable to fixed, TRS effected?

Does anyone know if changing from a variable rate to a fixed term will effect the TRS? I presume TRS will still be applied. I'm looking to avail of Ulster Banks new lower fixed rates.

Na, I switched in August and my TRS was unaffected - the amount I received obviously declined because of the amount of interest I was paying decreased..

TRS will still be applied but if you're paying less interest, you will get less TRS.
