I have 2 TVs working off one aerial. Everything's fine since introduction of digital. Now one TV won't pick up digital.
Switched TVs around same TV wouldn't pick up reception where the other was, but TV that was picking up picked up in the other spot. So I've ruled over out cables.
    Tried one TV only.
Is it possible that TV could develope fault that could pick up satellite but not digital?

Tuner sensitivity between television brands can vary.

It may be that your aerial configuartion is pulling in just about enough signal to pass the tuner threshold on one TV but not the other..

If you look at the one that is working, is there a menu that gives a signal quality and strength bar ?

Are the parameters that you are searching in the TV not working correct. What part of the country are you in ? Saorview website has a coverage checker so that you can check that your aerial is pointing the right way at the nearest mast.

Unfortunately the good TV has no signal test. The one I'm having a issue with does which is showing poor within the parameters quoted by Saorview. I'm in Kildare pointing at Kippure, direction is perfect as quoted by Saorview.
What I can't get my head round is no issues until this, no break up, no warning.
    It's a decent brand Phillips.

you should be able to get the signal details on the philips via the remote control

I have the signal test for the Philips, it's showing poor. That's the TV I'm having an issue with.
The other TV is a Hisense which doesn't have a signal test, but works fine where the Philips is showing poor.
Might take the TV to someone else's house and see what happens.
