Matthysse at 151 for this. Three pounds heavier than Postol.

After 3 rounds I have Matthysse ahead but it's a messy one. Lots of clinching with few clean shots.

After 6 Postol ahead after using his height advantage and nullifying Matthysse's left jab. Although Matthysse has landed double the power punches.

Maatthysee now looking for the KO. Ref very busy.

After 9 rounds I have Postol ahead 6-3. Postol is out boxing Matthysse and proving elusive. His jab is working big time.

Matthysse needs a KO to win.

Postol wins in round 10 by KO.

Right hand dropped him and Matthysse didnt want to get off his knee.

Great performance from Postal, a classic example of styles making fights. As for Matthysse, he's had a long string of tough fights and maybe it's caught up with him.Kinda fought like he was frustrated and that was down to Postal imposing his reach while constantly moving.

Surprised, didn't know a whole lot about Postal, 4" height advantage is huge!

He's always been massively overrated especially on this forum, there is a way to beat Matthysse, he's a very one dimensional fighter.

How is he "a very one dimensional fighter"?

Defence is non existent, he's very strong and is a good strong come forward fighter but he never has a plan B, he has lost 4/5 of his hardest fights. People on here were talking about Matthysse in pound for pound lists. He simply isn't in that class. Very exciting to watch but when his plan of all out attack and overpowering his opponents doesn't work he struggles a bit.
