Billing Issue

    Hi there

We had an account with Irish Water for our previous apartment, which we rented. We paid bills for January, February, March, April and May 2015. On 1st June we moved out of this apartment, and into another apartment. I called to ask for our account to be moved from the old apartment to the new apartment, and provided landlord details for the previous apartment to send any future bills to her.

We have received no bill for June 2015 for the new apartment, but the previous tenants have received a bill for April, May and June. They moved out in May, and obviously did not cancel the account with you guys.

We have an account with you for the new address, but we have received no bill for June, and am assuming, we will not receive one for July, August and September, which I believe is due soon.

We have now also missed the deadline for the water conservation grant, as we have not received anything from DSP as I assume you guys have still not sorted the issue above despite calling you about 6 weeks ago when I was told a “case” would be opened and I would get a call within 3 working days.

As I am a tenant, I cannot have any bill outstanding, which June is, and which the July, August & September bills will be in a few weeks.

What we need from Irish Water is:

    1.       -  A bill for June for our new address
    2.       -  To Ensure that we receive bill for Q3 (July, August, September)and for future bills
    3.       -  That our account is the only account for current address, from 1st June 2015, when we moved in, and that previous tenant account is cancelled whether April and May have been paid for not as that is not our issue, we moved in on 1st June 2015
    4.      --  That our account for the old address has been cancelled from 1st June, when we have paid up to.

We can provide landlord details for the outstanding amount for April and May for the current address, as it is obvious that the previous tenants did not pay.

We logged onto My Water through the Irish Water Website, and they last payment they received was for the April and May bills. Then on the 25/08/2015 there is a bill, but says €0 and Cancelled against it? Our details are correct showing the new address. It does however show our account number and above it "metered" but we are not being metered???

Is there any way we can please get this sorted ASAP as I do not want all 4 months of my bill coming together, and my landlord is now asking why we have not paid, considering it is Irish Water holding up payment, can someone please help????
