stone cladding installation

    Hi I am putting on stone cladding around my fire place. What adhesive do I need. The one recommended by the guy is dear.

    I have removed plaster back to the block.

    Any advise welcome

    There are all kinds of adhesives you can use, if it was me i would just use a sand and cement mix. Give the bottom course time to go off before you lay the next course and then point or grout when finished.

    You could talk to your local tile shops,flexible tile adhesive or one part flexible tile adhesive would work perfectly.these products will bond,marble,stone,granite,stone cladding and tiles
