Anyone know when Bill is going to be picked up by Irish cinemas generally ? I believe it has a small release in Dublin but I would have expected a national release. I have a 9 year old Horrible Histories nut who is desperate to see it.

It's on general release now. I saw it in Cineworld on Sunday very funny, but for some odd reason it has a 12A certificate.

Unfortunately it appears to only be on in Dublin.

Ah right, sorry. I'd be surprised if it got more than that they had trouble with distribution even in the UK, you might have to wait for the DVD

Sexual innuendoes and a violent scene here or there involving knives one of two reasons I think it got a 12A. Very funny film sadly already up and gone from the cinema.

I was suprised. I think a PG which is what it got in the UK would've been more appropriate. And violence was mostly comedic such as Crawley's slave getting stabbed by the muggers. I've only started watching Horrible Histories on Netflix but I can't say that Bill is any more adult orientated. Maybe it was all the Catholic bashing ;-)
