Lads already have an aerial in the house and want to put a tv in a room that has no wiring. How much ballpark would I be looking at someone to run a wire from the aerial in the attic down the side of the house (outside) and in through an exterior wall?

    Thanks

Why don't you ask an aerial installer?

There is no ballpark figure. We have no idea what your house is like and potential problems.

there shouldn't be any problems, connection from aerial, straight down the side of the house, drill in through one external wall and fit socket. That's it. Thanks anyway.

Splitter in the loft. Maybe an amplified type required if the signal is not strong enough? Power for this amplifier either in the loft or up the aerial cable? Maybe a new 13 amp socket needs to be installed?
How thick is your wall and what is its construction?
    So many unknowns.

Why are you going back outside with cabling and drilling holes through concrete walls if you access to the attic ? Can you not drop the cable through the ceiling ?

Probably the same reason I did it, it being preferable to having to chase the wall interior, or having visible cable or ducting on it. (Routing it via doorframes or skirting wasn't an option either.)
