    Hi all,

Looking for someone who breeds 'pugaliers', i know that these dogs are 'designer dogs' and that puppy farms are well know for breeding these types, but wondering if there are breeders out there that are reputable, we saw one of these breeds and would love to have one.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There is no such thing as a Reputable breeder for a designer breed.

There are not a breed, cannot be registered, just someone breeding two dogs, breeding cross breed pups = back yard breeder (money maker)

Just be aware pugs have many health issue (is breathing etc) cavaliers have loads of health issues (cancers, eye issues) etc do breeding these dogs together is a receipe for disaster not to mention the life for the poor dog.

There is no such thing as a reputable breeder for a designer dog.

Are people still falling for this? Thinking that there so called reputable breeders of mongrels? ?
There is no such breed and anyone breeding these designer breeds should be bloody avoided at all costs and reported to be honest. It's disgraceful but money talks eh?

Christmas is coming, the tins of sweets are out in the supermarket and so are these designer puppy posts. Wasn't there a ban about this before?! Let's turn on the batman style mod light and ask

(DBB get your Batgirl suit on! :pac: )

We've had a chat about this, we think it's still a little early for Christmas pup requests, and have set the date of Oct 25th (2 months before Christmas) as our cut-off for posts looking for puppies :)

As others have said they are not a breed. But if you like the look of this type of cross why not contact some rescues and see if they have some of these crosses in. However you are unlikely to get a pup.

If you like the look of this cross why not look at real pedigree dogs that have similar appearance and go from there eg. short coat, size, colour etc. The squished up nose look (I know there is a proper term for this but I cant recall it at the moment) is a trait of boxers, bulldogs, boston terriers and French bulldogs . These breeds, apart from the boxer, are seriously expensive dogs to buy from a reputable breeder and I would not even consider trying to get one on the cheap. But if you are interested in these breeds contact the Irish Kennel Club and get a list of breeders and go from there.
