Best time to leave Dublin for Limerick on Fridays

    Hi,

I'd be grateful for any advice on the best time to head to Limerick (Clarecastle morseo) from Drumcondra on a Friday, leaving between 12-3pm? I'd have to leave between those times.

Would 3pm be a bad time (my current plan)? I'd be thinking of driving down Dorset street to the quays and driving out past hueston to the M50 before heading down the M50 to the M7 exit.

Would there be much traffic at this time, leaving Dublin or at Naas??

    Thanks

I would guess the earlier the better, I'd skip town though and go round the M50

Traffic clogs at Naas badly from 3. Leave Dublin at 1:30.

3pm will **probably** be ok, though you might be held up just a little around Naas. I'd go 2pm if you can, then you'll have absolutely no problems. Either heading north through Drumcondra and round on the M50, or down the quays and along out to the N7.
