    I'm currently on Basic Supplementary welfare payment pending the outcome of disability allowance. Started springboard course this month, will it affect my current payment??

    You need to check whether your disability claim would prevent you doing the course.
    It normally doesn't prevent the payment of JSA/JSB as its part time and not stopping you getting work but disability might be different.

    hiya im applying for work constantly and i just get letters back saying sorry but this position has been filled but social welfare keeps asking me for interviews. im signed up to do a course next month and got a letter for another interview with social welfare today. also i got a call about two ce schemes one of which i attended the interview and didnt get it and the other they told me to send my cv but they never sent me out a letter or gave me an address could i get into trouble? its all making me very depressed

    I am kinda in similar problem like you Ninshaw.I had an interview with my case officer and she is asking for all kinda papers and proofs.It is not my fault i didn't get any interviews.The biggest problem is that she is pushing me to do CE scheme but i am starting very bad hormonal therapy and don't know what to do and can i tell this to social or are they going to stop my unemployment allowance?I

    If it prevents you seeking work, the treatment may affect your payments.

    I had an interview with my case officer and she was very rude.I asked her about course cause i wanted to do Medical Administration course and she raised her voice at me saying that she is not going to send me on course and what do i think that courses are free and that government is paying for them.I was very shocked by her reaction cause i thought they are there to help us not to let us down.Don't know should i talk to someone about this or just to leave it?
