I heard an advert on local radio today for a Renault dealer in Ballinrobe offering €5k off the new megane. I'm guessing this offer could be natiopnwide.

If you normally keep cars for 13+ years, I'd focus on the quality of car you're buying as much as how much money you can get off.
All new cars have discounts available off the RRP, obviously some more than others.

There is a brand new Megane due any day now so the deal is probably off current stock of the old model. They have also added extra equipment to the old model so it may be worth inquiring about.

Generally though your probably talking about November/December for the good deals by manufacturers as they try to get the new year order books underway.
