Can't Open My Boot

05 Mazda 6 bought earlier this year. Could never open the boot with fob - always needed to use the key, and push the release latch forward before pulling it back again.

Now I can't get the key in at all. It goes in just under an inch. Checked with a tiny screwdriver and the blockage, whatever it is, runs from the top to the bottom of the keyhole. To add insult to injury, the back seat release latches are in the boot, so I've no way of accessing what's in the boot.

Apart from a lash of 3-in-one into the keyhole, is there anything else I could try?

this may be a bit crude, but i would drill the barrel and replace the whole thing when u get it out. not sure what else you could do.

AA,as you can't get at your spare tyre etc, then when opened, take it apart,oil/grease,or replace
