Got the letter from the school a few days ago, I've been selected to participate in the National Science Olympiad! Anyone else on here doing it, or has done it in the past?

Also, we only have to pick one of the three sciences, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. Which would be the easiest to pick up and gain a reasonable amount of knowledge in in about a month? The questions are supposed to by LC Pass level.

I did it last year and it was a 50/50 split roughly between biology and physics. Chemistry is avoided like the plague. Only do it if it's really your thing.

So if I were you, I'd pick your favourite between biology and physics.

I did no study whatsoever beforehand and got about 70% in the exam. There's not an awful lot you can do to study for it really.

Also, learn the order of the planets in our solar system...irregardless of which subject you choose that always seems to come up for some reason

    Best of luck

Thanks for all your help and well done! I was stuck between Chemistry and Physics, but i think I'm going to go with Physics now. Would you mind me asking what topics came up last year? Do they ask experiments, or mainly theory or graph/calculation questions? Thanks again
