Letting out Agricultural Land

    Hi folks,

Just looking for advice on letting out land for grazing. I have some land, about 20 acres, close to northside of Cork City. It's my first time letting it out. How much per acre should I expect to get? How do you go about letting out land?

    Any advice appreciated.

Contact estate agent that would deal with letting it would be then drawn up by your solicitor same as a house lease.
The price would depend on land type entitlements etc.

+1 using estate agent will also lower risk of non payment.

Just be careful that it is let to a genuine farmer. There may be others with an equine interest in your area and it would not be the best.
Also have a word with a farming accountant about tax incentives for leasing out.
