Hi, I recently bought a car from a dealer who told me that he would complete the change of registration form online and that the logbook would be sent out to me. How long should this process take approximately?

2 weeks max from the actual time the dealer inputs the details. Usually the dealer takes months to do it! I'd keep on top of them.

If you put the reg in to the vehicle transaction enquiry section of Motortax.ie it will tell you if they have received the change of ownership and if a new cert has been sent out to you...
