Not really a problem but a nuisance if anything!

When I step on the breaks their is a loud squeekying kind of noise! Is this an easy diy fix?

Or is it costly and if so how much roughly!

    Thanks in advance!

Almost certainly needs new brake pads. Toyota use a thin plate to deliberately make a squeal as a wear indicator.

At best, it could just be that they could do with a bit of copper grease on the back of the pads, or at worst, your pads could be down to their limit and the noise is the metal part rubbing off the discs which will also wear them out.

Some also use shims.Needs to be looked at.
