    hi all

i was traveling down from dublin to cork this evening .there was an audi a4 speeding past me .must have easily being doing 90-100mph .i was coming down a hill on a long straight stretch and could see the garda at the side of the road with the audi driver stopped and the garda was writing the ticket .he must have stepped out onto the motorway to stop him as the garda car was parked up one of those ramps with the camera on the tri- pod .my question is -i was doing between 125-133kmh when i passed the garda .the camera was on a tri-pod but the garda was not standing behind it as he was writing up the audi driver .am i correct in saying he would have to stop me or does the tri-pod work on its own and take a picture

    thanks guys

He would need to be locking on to your car and operating it.

    It wasn't a camera.
It's a laser gun, on a tripod to keep it steady.
