    Terminates right there where the aluminium plate is! First one I've seen like it. Don't know how it is of an advantage.

    Hi guys, yes its a little non-return for the air, uses the fan suction to open it, the idea is basically like the air shutter on the G3 models (without the hydraulic leak)

    So the idea is, that once the burner stops, it retains the last of the heat in the combustion chamber by stalling the air flow (and possibly stopping your photocell sooting over the year from shut-down combustion products being drawn back through the burner, if ya get me) and the metal mounting bracket.

    id say it will make the boiler very suspect to the slightest combustion leak around those already gammy door seals

    as its will concentrate the air intake a bit more

    No it still takes air from inside the module. Not sure how well the non-return will work tho.
