2 rads not working

    Hi guys

    I have a converted attice space with a landing and two rooms. There is a valve in the hot press to open if i want to heat the attic. When i do this, the rad on the landing comes on fine but the other two are stone cold (not airlocked)

    THe rads are open (turned to 5) , any idea why they would be not working ?

    Have you got a sealed system? Maybe low pressure.
    It seems like you are talking about thermostatic rad valves? If so, take the heads off and see if the pin can be pushed down and spring back up easily.

    +1 Thermostatic vales are prone to sticking when not used over the Summer Months. Push the pin in and out a few times or squirt a bit of wd40 just to lubricate it. Then close the Rad that's working and force the heat to the others.
