Has Aer Lingus changed the start time for 'evening before' check-in?

Has anyone used the Aer Lingus T2 'evening before' check-in facility recently and does it start at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m.? I'm getting directly conflicting information from Aer Lingus. Please only reply if you've used this service very recently or know someone who has.

I'm flying to Spain on Thursday morning next and today I got an SMS from Aer Lingus advising me that I can 'check in and drop your bags between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. tomorrow evening.'

However when I checked their website to see if I had to go to a particular desk, both the old and new websites say that the 'evening before' check-in starts at 5 p.m......

If your flight departs Dublin Airport between 06:00-08:00 in the morning, you can check-in at the airport between 17:00-20:00 the evening before.

I've lashed off an e-mail to their customer queries helpdesk but am not expecting a quick response. I'd like to use this facility but at 4 p.m. and no later as I need to GTF out of the airport before the evening traffic.

I used it in August but it was around half 5 when I put my bag through. They reply much quicker on their social media channels (Facebook, twitter)

Cheers, I checked in online this morning (to reserve my seat) and printed the boarding pass which says that 'evening before' check-in starts at 4 p.m. so I have a piece of paper and an SMS to wave at them in case they refuse to deal with me between 4 and 5.

I tweeted them but got no response.

Update: I went to the airport (T2) today and in the bag drop queue there are signs saying that 'evening before' check-in or bag drop starts at 4 p.m. and I dropped off my bag at 4:05 p.m.

As of this evening, my 12 noon tweet (sent today) hasn't been answered, my e-mail sent yesterday to the customer queries e-mail address has not been responded to and both the old and new websites still say that the service starts at 5 p.m.

    Mods, please close this thread.
