Didn't see it mentioned here so thought I'd post this from another forum. I know some here may have been heading down on Sunday.

Pity....but they'll hopefully get a new venue soon.

Cars & Coffee Cherrywood-THE END IS NOW
It is with great regret that effective immediately, Cars & Coffee at Cherrywood will no longer take place.
Today, we received confirmation that we no longer have permission to use the " Cherrywood Lands" for the event.
This decision was made even though we had the support of the proprietor of the Spar store, who actively lobbied on our behalf, along with the security company, and park facilities manager.
The decision is final, and we have been given no avenue to discuss the matter further.

Just to point out, that the suggestion of a meeting along the lines of last month, the so called "boulevard style" is not an option, and neither I or Damien could support such an approach, nor will we attend.

We ask that you pass the news to anyone you know who attends the event, that it has been stopped.

We will in the meantime endeavor to find a suitable alternative location, but that will not happen before this coming Sunday.
We apologise for the short notice, we can but try our best!!

Many many thanks to everyone who attended and helped to make this such an enjoyable meet.
    Steve - Steveirl
    Damien - V8 Damo

They were let in to sight just not the car park.

It was 1st one I had been to up there and although the boulevard style was a nice change to usual meets, the car park would have been much better as cars were spread about all over place.

It's a pity as there was really nice cars there and huge variety. Reckon the new owners have upset a few shop owners as they do good business with amount of car owners there for cars n coffee.

I was there today and there were a handful of cars also there, its such a pity that this has come to an end, and all for what? no good reason from what I can see, other than some little jumped up jerk thinking he knows how to run business, clown! there was no harm being done and it was a very civil meet, also created revenue for the estate, pity Mr big shot didn't notice that, his loss. Hopefully we will find somewhere else that will take our money.
