Overnight Oct 1st, from what I can find it seems that CSC Media were bought by Sony. Maybe its Sony's fault?

Anyone know if it's gone permanently or moving elsewhere on Freesat?

Checked their website and nothing about the closure.

It still appears as having programming for after the 1st on the Sky EPG. Although I'm not sure if that actually means anything.

The Pop Girl website indicates that there is no programming after 6am tomorrow morning.

    www.popgirl.tv

Probably be the case that some of the more popular programming will end up on Pop in due course. BARB ratings for the channel appeared to be very poor compared to Pop & Tiny Pop (0.03% compared to 0.32% and 0.4% respectively, though Tiny Pop is available on Freeview as is Pop albeit restricted to areas with a local TV service, but even the Pop & Tiny Pop timeshift channels were getting better ratings than Pop Girl).

Kix might go for the chop themselves soon if their ratings are anything to go by - 0.07% audience share in July (the same period mentioned for the other CSC children's channels.) However ratings only tell part of the story - advertising income is what mainly matters.
