Judicial Assistant Interview Competition

    Hi,

I have an interview for the judicial assistant competition from the Courts Service. I was wondering what sort of questions are asked at interview. I have been away from the law for some time. From an old thread on for judicial support staff, the panel seemed to ask questions on legal changes in the law. I had to submit an essay as part of the process based on the changes in unconstitutionally obtained evidence. Would anyone know if they just quiz you on your essay or on a wider area of law. I was also wondering who is on the interview panel. Are they judges or HR people? Any answers appreciated.

Have you heard back about this job?

I wasn't asked anything on my essay.
