    Hi there,

We currently have 2 cars 07 Audi A4 & 05 VW Golf. We are looking to upgrade but also consolidate into one car.

I'm just wondering would dealers be open to this (trading in 2 cars) or how they typically approach this type of thing.

They may but you won't get their true value as the dealer is taking two cars into stock while only shifting one while still wanting a bit of cash their way. Best try and sell at least one of them privately yourself.

Are you buying a brand new car or used, what kind of a budget? Are your own cars petrol or diesel? Some dealer may do it if it's a new car your getting but they will give you are really low price. If it was me I would try to sell one of them, whichever is worth the most and trade in the other.

I would agree with the others here .
Id say any dealer will take 2 cars in especially if you are buying new, but they will give you a fraction of what they are worth.
Same as above i would try to sell one or both privately.
Without knowing whether they are petrol or diesel i would say the golf would probably sell easier then the A4 regardless .

I would put both of them up on done deal and see if one sells

Have done some research on this and am being offered 8K for both cars by one particular garage. Looking at done deal for cars similar to mine in age and mileage it seems like a pretty fair deal to me.

Considering going for a 2012 Hyundai i40 with low mileage (24k).

Donedeal is mostly private sellers so you cannot really compare a garage trade-in price against a donedeal asking price. And the figure you should concentrate on is the cost to change price.
