    Where would one get October sun holiday ? The Carneys are expensive and North Africa is to dodge as is Turkey anywhere else ?

    Majorca is nice at that time of year and not too expensive

    Palma(Majorca), Faro (Algarve), Málaga (Costa Del Sol), Alicante, (Costa Blanca), Reus/Salou (Costa Dorado) all lovely places to go on holidays, completely safe and lots to do.

    Turkey isn't that dodgy in fairness, its very localised towards the south eastern part of the country.

    Malta you will get 26-28c sunshine.

    I was in Malaga mid October last year and it was 27c Sun every day, one or two days of 30c.
