eirom sent out a brand new router?

Just recieved a brand new D1000 Modem from eircom this morning. I haven't ordered it nor have I been in contact with eircom :pac: Do they randomly send out new routers? The web based configurator is brilliant compared to my old ZyXEL P-660HN-T1A

My guess is they still have "eircom" branding on them so they are probably getting rid of old stock by updating customers on old modems to a newer modem.
