For the construction of two GAA playing pitches in addition to ancillary goal posts and ball nets,(b) dressing rooms measuring 310sqm, (c) car park incorporating 80 car spaces and 4 bus spaces, (d) on site septic tank and percolation area, (e) new entrance and (f) all associated works.
    Toor Thurles

We don't need anymore GAA pitches.

    We have

    Semple Stadium
    3 pitches beside it
    Thurles Gaels
    Thurles OG
    LIT
    CBS Primary
    CBS secondary
    Colaiste Mhuire
    St Pats, all have pitches
And a few more around the town and not to mention outside the town Bouladuff, Holycross etc

The land they are planning to build this on is zoned mixed use so could be used for anything. Industrial/FDI, a shopping centre or even social housing.

    Grab All Association indeed!

Totally agree. More than enough pitches in Thurles.

Read somewhere that Sars are looking to build their own facilities? I assume this must be it?
