    Hi all,

We'll be moving house soon, and looking at options for transport - multiple car trips arent feasible this time round. Due to holidays etc, we'll be moving over the Oct bank holiday weekend - 24-26th of Oct. Because of the bank holiday weekend it would appear we would have to rent a van for the the entire weekend - collection Saturday morning, return Tuesday morning.

I would also like to take out insurance, as transfer etc is a pain, and i'll need the car aswell.

Anyone have any recommendations in the Dublin region, have looked at Enterprise, and value van rental also.

    Thanks in Advance.

I've rented a van from Europcar a good few times over the last year - they are based in Mark street in the city centre - they open at 8:30am Saturday which has allowed me to get the van early and have it returned by closing time at 3pm. Prices anywhere between 45 to 75 depending on van size.

You could get a better deal going through atlas car rental - same vans from the same location but cheaper. But because of this Atlas can be in short supply, so book a few weeks early.

I did a quick search - Atlas charging 160 for a large van from 24th to 27th (includes insurance) - Europcar is 206 for the same period (not sure about the insurance package).

I've never tried anyone else - it was the location that decided it for me - no doubt you could get cheaper with some googling.

If they allow you to collect from one location and drop to another for vans, then Enterprise have a location in Naas, then when you are finished in Glasnevin, you can drop it across to the Airport - that branch is always open.
