we used our stove/boiler for the first time last week since last winter and it was making dome very odd gurgling noises at the back.i'm assuming it is air in the system(it has a small water tank in te loft)if so what do I do?

Best to get the installer back out to check the system and have him verify that it is safe.

Sounds like the pump is stuck. But irregardless, it should definitely not gurgle as the heat should be dissapated to the cylinder via gravity. is there a gravity circuit to the cylinder?
