alternative to vw Tiguan

Hi guys, apologies if this has been done to death ;)
I think it's time to trade in my 10 year old polo. We also have a golf which will be traded in in (hopefully 2 years).

We just a bought a house so really weren't planning on buying a car so soon so I am looking at pcp/car finance.
I don't do many kms maybe 11,000 per year. We have a toddler and hopefully plan on having another one in a few years. I would prefer something higher off the ground than golf. In an ideal world I would love a vw Tiguan but really really can't afford it! We have only ever had vw so I will seriously need to convince OH to change brands.

I have been searching all morning going throught the deals on offer so far I have come up with

Vw golf €21,677 0% finance (don't know if finance deal is still on offer)
    Peugeot 2008 €18,950 pcp 3.9%
    Citroen c4 cactus €17,995 pcp 0%
    Any other suggestions?
    Thanks

The Tiguan is about to be replaced by a new model anyway. What about the Golf SV, it's basically a tall Golf with a bit more room?

Never heard of a golf sv! Is it the same as a golf plus?

Yes, it's replacement for the Golf Plus.

Skoda Yeti is another option, it's the same as the Tiguan underneath, both the Yeti and Golf SV are available in petrol if your doing small mileage.

Better off staying away from VW considering recent news.

OH will only drive VW! I on the other hand think they are overpriced and am open to every brand. I ever tried to convince him on a Dacia!!! Lol

Ahhh ok! I am only going to get petrol. Is yeti a skoda?

    Edit
Just looked up yeti it is more than a golf! So I think my max budget is Golf price but looking for something cheaper!

The Yeti is the Skoda equivalent of the Tiguan.

Does it have to be brand new? Maybe look at the Seat Leon or Skoda Octavia, both are basically a Golf underneath but are cheaper to buy.

OH would prefer brand new. I just want best value for money. Brand new may work out cheaper if they give me 0% finance or big trade in scrappage! I can only find 0% with vw and citreon and I know OH will have a field day when I show him pic of cactus c4 with the rubber! Hehe I like it and think it would come in handy in car parks!
