What kind of Insect is this?

    Does anyone know what kind of fly this is. It seems to have a triangular shaped head and a little bit of orange on his bum. Pics are on a phone but I can try to take better ones on my camera.

    Uneducated guess.

    I think it is a, 'stink bug / shield bug', with the wings not folded back. Not sure what kind of stink bugs you get in Ireland though.
