Just wonder is it OK to use the carbon bike on the turbo. On or two lads in the club have mentioned that their good carbon bike never goes on the turbo as it is bad for the actual frame. Any truth to this? Was thinking that since it is now retired for the winter that I would stick it on the turbo rather that swapping the winter bike on and off and also having to swap the turbo wheel in and out

Most will say yes and plenty people do it. I know I don't out of fear, stress on a frame in a turbo just seems unnatural to me as the whole bike can't flex like it does on the road, just the rear triangle. Some manufactures don't recommend it (Cube afaik)
What I do know for sure is, I fly through wheel bearings, axles and cones on my turbo wheels.
