Soundcard is an unnecessary addition, and a 400-500w PSU is strong enough

    Thanks will fix now

Aside from that, it looks like a solid build

Soundcard as pointed out above is useless, Z-board is useless if you're not planning to upgrade to a k-series to overclock in the next year or two (in two years the cost to jump to a k-series will be lower if you want that, but you probably won't need that thanks to either DX12 or Vulkan APIs, but that's guess-work at the moment), the Sandisk SSDs on either side of the V300 are better propositions, the z400s if you want to be slightly cheaper, the Plus 2 if you want to go E2 over.

He said you can get a H81 series motherboard as they're cheaper than the Z97 like you've got

The Z97s are for over clocking, which you can't do so its pointless unless you want to upgrade to an overclockable chip.

He said not to go for a Sandisk V300, get a Plus 2 or whatever model for €2 extra.

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2L9mMp

This is about $50 cheaper, better GPU and bigger PSU.

There is a guy selling this motherboard and another selling an EVGA 960 in this thread if you'd buy second hand

Have you been advised on getting homeplugs instead of a wireless card?

Why do you keep leaving out the http? You're looking for help from people, but making them do extra work to help you.
