    I see origin are down again today to €6.40 ,i know they released their results this week which looked okay so i am wondering what is up with them
    I would like to invest about 5% of portfolio in them and are wondering are they worth a punt .Dont know a whole pile about them except they are opperating in the tillage sector which is in depression

    I know from your past posts that you have already shares in other ag based companies. Buying a share you know is sensible but over doing one sector especially if its where you make a living from can be a bit risky. You are obviously interested in investing so researching other areas should be no bother to you. Having said that Origin is a good company and may well offer value once this 30% or so is sold.

    This for me has proven to a disappointing dog of a share. Incremental growth with little headline news apart from some new deals in Poland and Ukraine :(

    I'm waiting for some recovery in SP before bailing out. This one has flatlined for me and the recent results have confirmed this for me.

    Putting 30% of any portfolio into one stock is a brave some might suggest wreckless decision, putting into Origin, I think you're mad. For example, where's the growth opportunity here and not for example in Aryzta or Glanbia?
