Looking for a set of 11spd shimano compatible wheels for winter training. Wheels must be in good condition, don't mind some ware or small marks, be black, be running true and have plenty of life left in them.
    Am based in Trim, Meath.

Was contemplating new Mavic Aksiums or possibly Fulcrum Racing 5, but thought I'd check and see what's out there first.

    Thanks

Nice wheels. A little over specced for winter trainers but what would you take for the wheels only, no tires.

I'm looking for as close to €400 as I can with the tires.
What would you give for the wheels without them ?
    I don't have a cassette on them B.T.W.

Thanks Dono1975, They're lovely wheels. Just spent €400 on new race wheels and looking for something cheaper for training, €200 tops.

Sounds good. Let me know if they're still in the shed! Would rather not take the tires so will offer a tad less if that's alright.

    Hey,
Still there, I'll send you pictures if you pm your email, I'd rather let them go with Tyres/tubes,I'll sell them without tyres no prob but the Tyres are not great anyway tbh,the Tyres were used on other wheels for a while, the wheels were used on my wife's and sons bike and they were back up wheels to put in service car for my son for racing,€130 without Tyres, posting will cost me €17,

    Cheers zip,

I'll have a set of wheels next week if it falls through with Zippe.
I've a new bike coming with Mavic Askium One's on it.
I already have a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elite's with a good few miles on them. They are perfect except for the fact some of the paint has come off the spokes on them - run true etc. and I use them with no problems at all at the moment.
I'll be getting rid of one of these sets (not decided which yet!) but if you're interested in either just let me know - I'm in Dunshaughlin so more than welcome to see either.

@kevinleeowen thanks. Out of interest what would you take for the Aksiums?

Thanks for the email Zippe. Wheels look to be in great condition. Will see what above poster says and will pull the trigger hopefully very soon.

They seem to be going for about €200 on the web, so I'd say about €175 or so - as I say, brand new (don't even have them yet!) and I'll leave the tyres on them a I have no need for them (CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 4000S II). Don't want to step on Zippe's toes though if you've already arranged a sale.

@Kevinleeowen that is a very attractive deal. I will have to go with your offer of €175 with the Conti GP4000 II. And sure you're only down the road. Perhaps you can PM me for collection when they arrive.
Zippe thank you very much for your offer I hope you don't mind me going with the new wheelset.
