Quick Vodafone routing check

I've got a ticket open with Vodafone at the moment, but I thought I would check in here for a quick confirm/deny from a helpful boardsie.

Can someone with a Vodafone home DSL connection try to ping (or traceroute) 169.1.1.1 and let me know how you get on please?

In the (non-Voadafone) office I get this, as I would expect -

The problem I'm facing is that my home broadband router won't route traffic to 169.x.x.x. I think there's a problem with the routing table and have asked Vodafone to confirm. I *know* that 169.254.x.x shouldn't be routed, but I'm trying to get to a different address in the broader 169.x.x.x address range.

If anyone with Vodafone could do a quick sanity check and post the results here I would appreciate it.

Your router won't route it or the network won't? Where does the trace fail?

Create a static route on your PC for the address with your Dsl modems ip as your gateway.

I reckon Windows is not routing that address range.
