Good luck with the sale, recently bought my first Vendeen ram from a society breeder.

Looking forward to seeing how he'll work out come springtime.

Ye have great sheep there that'll be a worthwhile addition to any flock.

Best of luck with tomorrow afternoons sale. Years of good stockmanship and careful selection gone in to those sheep. They'd be a welcome addition to any flock.

Thanks guys, it's a big ask to sell 60 ewes in a small society like the Vendeen society, but it'd be a shame to slaughter them.
It'll probably be a buyers market, but sure it'll be a bit of crack anyway and we've organised a few scoops afterwards

Yea, only have 8 acres at the house here and the pedigrees would always be on it...funny to see it this morning empty,
Strange day, the inlamb hoggets only averaged around 300, yet the ewe lambs averaged 430 and they not in lamb,
Senior ewes, some as old as 2010 averaged 390 with a 2012 ewe making 800
I have 50 extra Lleyn ewe lambs ready to replace them, some mightn't be heavy enough, but I'd rather keep them than buy in, I want to keep a few not in lamb anyway to train the new pup.

The price you got for the pedigrees will make up for carrying any empty ewe lambs!!
