FETAC to Third Level

    How do links (by link I mean when a institute of further education has a agreement with a third level college to grant entry in advanced to the usual CAO offers to the students who meet the requirements) work between FETAC courses and third level colleges as in if everyone in a class applys to the same course and gets the exact requirements will they all be offered a place before people applying normally to through the CAO?
