    Hi all,

Trying to understand the application route for the upcoming DCM for BHAA members and not getting much joy. I can't see anywhere online to use my BHAA membership number to enter the marathon online and the SSE race series website does not seem to recognise any codes (or otherwise) for BHAA members.

Anyone got through online or got any direction from the association? I emailed a couple of times.

    Ta!

I don't think you can enter via the BHAA website. AFAIK you just enter via the DCM site along with everyone else.

I know nothing about BHAA but I had a quick goo there and they say you can enter for a tenner, but doesn't say how or where to do that....

    Piss poor explanation tbh!

On the second page of the Dublin Marathon entry form, there is a field BHAA membership number - you just put your ID in there

    https://eventmaster.ie/event.php?event_id=607%22

If you've already registered and didn't fill this in, once you've dont the marathon and have a time just inform the BHAA via email and they can link yor result.

Thanks emerald. Still results in a full price entry though, I'm trying to enter at the BHAA rate which is reported prominently on our website - as linked above by libelula. For all others races it's a straightforward process and I've emailed BHAA more than once to understand how to access our members rate for DCM but no reply so far.

It does mention elsewhere on the BHAA events page that you just print off your membership number and bring with you to the event you intend to enter, but while this has worked for local road races or cross-country races I'm not sure it's the same process for a big national race like DCM and I don't want to risk missing an entry because I assumed the same process would simply apply.

Anybody got any contacts in BHAA I could speak with or any members here involved with the committee?

Emerald is on the BHAA committee. There is no special rate for DCM for BHAA members afaik. I have never heard of there being one.

Edit: I checked the website and clearly the price listed on the website is a mistake. It also says that entry for the half was €10, which is not true.

    Good stuff menoscemo.

Emerald would you be able to get that changed on the BHAA wesbite? It's pretty misleading.
