    I would have thought that airlines such as Aer Lingus have no shortage of CVs on their records that match the requirements in the ad? Reading online forums, such as PPrune you get the impression that there are thousands of pilots out there with right qualifications but no job, who are sending their CVs right and left.. you start to wonder, if its all a myth created by some unlucky/unfit individuals. Great to see opportunities coming up anyway

    That's not always the case. Many times AL have interviewed and put people into a hold pool and then found that they have got a start elsewhere. Also they tend not to accept CVs unless they are specifically recruiting. Hence if you want a job get your CV in now.
