had a look through a pair of vortex talon 10x42 today , I was more than impressed let me tell you , compared them to my geovid 8x42 and could not see any difference , didn't find the 10x42 shakey either , thinking of buying a pair to leave in the wagon full time, always afraid of the Leica's being robbed or mislaid , the vortex are about a quarter the cost the Leica's

You're the second person I heard praising these binos. Does the epic Vortex warranty cover these as well?

Hi Leica I had a set before the deer season started the were a demo model I found them very sharp clear image but at last light the sharpness was to much what I mean is you had very little adjustment from clear to blur image I was watching a few hinds and Calfs there was a pricket in with them and I could not make it out no matter what I tried . I had the Leica HD with me and I could see the spikes but for normal conditions if the deer are not gone next to nocturnal the would be fine IMO

Hi sniper , Atlantic shooting in Carlow have a pair in stock , for €470 , I see there a good bit cheaper on eBay though, you should have a look through them and see what you think , I was amazed, but bear in mind what Steyrman says about the last fifteen or twenty mins before dark , let me know how you get on ,
