no parker hale rod

    bought a new ph from sports den ,came with no assembly rod,emailed sd,got a reply saying,parker hale dont supply the rods anymore,and sorry for the inconvenience, (some inconvenience when trying to clean and put it back togeather again) gonna have to try get some kind of rod,as its a pain to get the baffles in right,more expense,so anyone thinking of buying one,you have been told.........ps got another email from sd,saying Please note at no stage do we advertise an asembly tool on our website.....(they dont say it comes without one either).in fairness it goes on to say we will try our best to get you one,how long ill be waiting i dont know.

    I still have mine in the original box and it says "supplied with assembly tool" printed on the box. i have measured the rod at 7mm diameter so you could get a drill bit and give that a try, should work.

    I got a second hand parker hale on my second cz with no assembly rod i just use a magpie/crow decoy pole (the straight ones) to put the baffles on and slip them into the mod horizontally ..does the job after i clean the mod the POI change a hair or by a couple on inches sometimes.
