Eyeliners

Can anyone recommend an eyeliner that will actually stay on for more than a few minutes.

I am by no means a makeup expert when it comes to application but I try my best and I use decent enough products.
I use eyeliner on my lower lid and I love it when its on but it just seems to be gone within an hour.

    Any pencil type hasn't worked
Currently using a kohl by Rimmel I think and it is definitely better and much easier to apply also but it doesn't last long enough.

    Any tips??

Bourjois and YSL are my favourites.

Catrice isn't bad at all either.

Do you mean along your tear duct? Or is it not even staying under your lower lash? Does your eyes react to the product and produce tears to wash it away? If I use any sort of liquid liner below that happens me. I have found some excellent kohl type. Inglot being the best.

I'm not putting it below the lashes just along the lower eyelid. I think it is just tears washing it away but I'm not having allergy type symptoms (it's not itchy or sore or anything).

I will do some trial and error on suggested brands anyway.

I had this problem too and a make up artist recommended a waterproof eyeliner pencil. It works great and doesn't budge at all.

Maybe try a gel liner? The inglot one is good!

Sometimes the pencil needs an even surface to cling onto. I find if I give that area a rub with my foundation brush, and a light dusting of powder, my eyeliner lasts miles longer because it has something to grab onto. Might work for you too:)

+1 for Catrice. I have two waterproof liners from this brand, the type that twists up - I'm not at home so can can't find the exact name of it. I find it lasts ages and applies really well.
