Did anybody ever have to re-weld in a blanked off side fill on the drum of a slurry tank? Rest of the tank is sound but the side fill has a small hole in it. Did anyone ever cut the side fill point off a slurry tank and re weld the new piece on. Is it a success or would it ever be right again. I feel its the right job to do if it could be done right. rest of the tank is spotless.
