Hi, I had posted this a while back in heating and plumbing but got no replies so maybe someone here can help me.

I have a Stuart Turner ST55 pump for the power shower in my hotpress. Over the last few weeks it started intermittently going on and off while we showered and sometimes not switching on at all. Eventually the fuse went which I replaced (3 amp) and then it came back on but only for a day or two. Fuse isn't blown now but the pump is stopped.

Has anyone any advice for me on whether I can carry out some tests myself, replace it with no plumbing experience or should I get a plumber?
